All about me? Well, I'm an expat living in Munich, an IT geek, the lord of the builds and stuff, a tech writer, a blogger, a weirdo, an adventurer, a good mixer, a curious mind, a traveller, a polyglot wannabe, sometimes a bit of a madcap, occasional photographer, movie lover, fun addicted, experience absorber, a hedonist, an extrovert, rational egoist, though a giver; all in all just a human being.

Some used to say the I was an Amelie lookalike, well not anymore :P

Yes, I'm Russian. No, I don't drink vodka.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I prefer to pick movies by director, this way I know I most probably won't be disappointed. Some of my favorite: Pedro Almodovar, Darren Aronofsky, Tim Burton, Luc Besson, Luis Bunuel, Andrey Tarkovsky, Terry Gilliam, Federiko Fellini, Wong Kar Wai, Emir Kusturica, Troy Duffy, Woody Allen, Milos Forman, David Fincher, Alfred Hitchcock, Christopher Nolan, Stanley Kubrick, Hayao Miyazaki, David Lynch, Jim Jarmusch, Alejandro Iñárritu, Coen brothers, Gus Van Sant, Frank Oz, etc.

Books: Umberto Eco, Iain Banks, Irvine Welsh, William S. Burroughs, Chuck Palahniuk, Kurt Vonnegut, Jorhe Luis Borhes, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jean-Paul Sartre, Ryunosuke Akutagawa, Ryu Murakami, Milan Kundera, Romen Gari, Anthony Burgess, Michel Houellebecq, Mihail Veller, Douglas Coupland.... I could go on, but generally I just need a book that can tickle my brain.
