I am curious about how people choose to live their lives and what makes them happy.
This curiosity is born out of my own wish to find out how I want to live my own life and finding inspiration out there feels exciting!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I really love the idea of sharing. Sharing a spare room, a spare bed, a meal, a story, an evening, a day... It is a nice counterculture to consumerism that brings people together on an equal footing. Host and guest enter a connection that goes beyond a mere trade, trust and respect become central elements of the experience of traveling. Sharing and fostering this feeling is why I'm here.

Interests

I am deeply interested in alternative ways of being together. The ways in which we are "forced" to interact in main-stream culture feels flat and empty to me. I long for authenticity and depth in my interactions. I'm interested in exploring the nuances of this human experience, through my body, my mind, my senses!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music needs to fit the mood! I love it when people are able to choose the right track for the right mood. Music is magical, it can completely transform one's emotions and experience!

I'm not a big movie buff but I most enjoy movies with depth, blockbusters rarely speak to me and I prefer indie movies.

When it comes to books I mostly find myself reading non-fiction books that are in some way related to human psychology. Human trauma, spirituality, sexuality, addiction, all of those topics interest me a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed one of the three peaks (Drei Zinnen, South Tyrol, Italy) with my dad. It was a wonderful experience filled with excitement and immense beauty. A moment I often times go through in my memory...
