Teacher, love travelling, foodie, happy person
At 50 I separated after 30 years relationship. I realized I was free!! And so I quit my job to do what I love most in life : travel, discover beautiful people and things, enjoy spectacular nature, culture and art. I like people. Love to just watch them, love talking to them, sharing experiences and food. I am a hitchhiker since I was 18 and I have met only wonderful people. I love nature. It calms me, I find peace in myself when I am in nature. I ve been scuba diving for 10 years but had to stop because of health problems. But I have enjoyed the underwater world for 100%.
I love arts. Mostly contemporary and architecture moves my heartbeat.
I love reading, movies, music.
I speak 7 languages but if I don’t speak yours we will understand each other anyway coz it’s not about words I think.

Photography but not skilled. Arts to watch and enjoy. Colors in the sky. Warmth (between friends, people, but also as in warm weather). Music. Hiking and cycling 🚴🏼‍♀️. I prefer being outside to enclosed inside.

Movies : Ghibli, drama, romcom, historical. My evergreen movie : an officer and a gentleman. But also : bridges of the Madison County. Matrix. The last pics I saw : A star is born and Beautiful boy. Mmmmm so nice.
Books : Flemish and Dutch literature. But also Paulo Coelho, Amelie Nothomb, Isabel Allende and Haruki Murakami are my favorite authors.

Taking 2 years off for travels on my own. And I already exceeded and will continue as long as it takes me. 5 years? 10 years? The rest of my life? Who knows... 😊

I like eating. So I love cooking. Like to learn new ways of cooking and I like to share the Flemish way of cooking. I like learning new things that are of use in my life. Don’t teach me about algebra;)
