Overview
About Me
I am a 25 year old girl from Finland and I study biology. I thoroughly enjoy travelling around and I am well accustomed to international surroundings and people with different backgrounds. I am currently having an exchange year in United States and I'm loving the experience.
Back home in Finland I have two cats and I like doing sports like fitness classes, horseback riding, volleyball, badminton etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I think it's a great opportunity to combine low cost travelling and meeting new people. I always learn so much more about the culture of the country when using couchsurfing and it's an awesome way to get tips about doing some other than just touristy things in new places.
Interests
I love doing anything sporty. I love reading books. I feel that watching well made movies and television shows is never a waste of time, and stealing some time playing xbox is almost essential to my mental health. I am interested about nature and science, but I also do appreciate arts very much. I am definitely an addict to all kinds of information.

Music, Movies, and Books
I hate the word favorite, but some I like are:
Movies and series:
The good, The Bad and The Ugly, Dallas Buyers Club, The Flight, everything with Christian Bale or Edward Norton, Breaking Bad, House Of Cards, Fargo, Sherlock Holmes, Homeland, The Vikings, Walking Dead etc.
Books:
Norwegian Wood, The Kite Runner, Game of Thrones series
Music: Almost anything with nice melody goes and if it's not trance
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Horseback riding and galloping full speed on a beach in Costa Rica. No doubt one of the best things I've ever done. And that's even after I fell off once and ate a mouthful of sand.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak Finnish so I got that going for me. You can always catch couple of phrases and yell them randomly to your friends. No worries if it's correct, no one speaks Finnish anyway.
Well, for real, I am always ready to soak whatever information from your culture and share mine. Anything connected to food is a definite winner.
What I Can Share with Hosts
The least we can share is a nice company, anything else is a plus :)
