Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because it makes the travelling experience more personal. It is a very good opportunity to actually get to know someone where you are travelling.

Interests

I appreciate food, coffe and wine. To share it with friends makes it even better. I like to talk about life and society, and it is very interesting to hear the thoughts of people from other backgrounds than mine.

I reallly enjoy being in the mountains. In the summer I like to bring my tent and go hiking for some days, while in the winter i mostly prefer sleeping indoors. For me, that is the best way to get a little break from the everyday life.

I like to live and travel spontaneously, not planning too much in advance. My best travel experience was going on interrail two years ago. To sit there in the evening and just look at all the possible train connections, imagining yourself in the different cities the next day felt really good.
