My name is Miri, I'm a 26-year old human who loves to write, to laugh, to read, to cook and eat, to travel and has also a thing for tattoos. I'm a mama to a fantastic child; also I'm a student of literature and middle eastern cultures. I'm working as a journalist writing for the local newspaper and some magazines, also broadcasting at the local community radio station and active in the community radio scene.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since we have some space for guests in our shared flat, we'd like to welcome people from around the world here, because I really like to meet new people, share stories, learn and teach and so on.
Also, we're hoping to find some temporary homes to stay when we are traveling :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love rock music. Most of all I love grrrl punk, grunge and fun punk.

I don't really watch so much movies, but directors I like are Wes Anderson, Fatih Akin and Tim Burton. Also I really love good TV Shows, such as Shameless, Pose, Orphan Black, True Detective, Orange Is The New Black and many more.

Books are really hard since I love so much different books from so much different authors. At the moment I really like everything Patti Smith has written (for sure I also adore her music!), I love Adichie, Murakami, Camus, Vian, Sagan and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time, when I was a small kiddo, I saved the life of a goat.
Oh, and I created a pretty awesome human. Beat it! ;)
