I am a radio nerd and a Kierkegaard fangirl, I take myself as seriously as I have to to get around in life, I don't like arguments and I am very spontaneous. I don't come across as any of those things on a first impression though, because I am often quite calm. I will speak up against discrimination and injustice though, and I am very sensitive at detecting those. I don't accept labels being put on people and I will confront you with it if you're being paternalistic. I mean it!
Otherwise, I am pretty chilled and I like cake.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess the main reason why I'm on here is to find places to sleep while I'm travelling. If I connect with the person, all the better, and we may even stay friends for years which would be great, of course. I don't like forcing these things though, there's little I enjoy less than hanging out with someone without having anything to say to each other.

I can't host at the moment, but hopefully I will soon! As a host, my main aim is to provide a place to be based for someone who is travelling, I am NOT a tour guide and I only accept guests who are self-reliant and can look after themselves. That being said, of course I will have dinner/tea/wine/beer with you and I hope we will become friends as much as you do. But if we don't, I'll let you do your thing and you'll let me do mine, and you're still welcome in my house. (That is, once I have one.)
