Overview
About Me
I'm currently studying religion and philosophy, living in Jerusalem. I'm not personally religious, but it's my favorite thing to study! I will be starting my master's degree next year, returning to the US to continue learning the same. I'll be staying here long enough to work in building Midburn.
Otherwise, I love to read a ton, walk infinitely, talk about the mysteries of the universe, check out local bars, and cook.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been on couchsurfing for years, to help find places to stay and meet people while I'm traveling, and meet travelers when I'm not! I seem to have lost the old account though.
Right now, I quit my job in June, gave up my house, and have begun a big adventure starting in Israel and going through the Middle East, Caucasus, and Europe (Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Georgia, and more). I am unimpressed by the world of desk jobs and career climbing, and think there are better reasons to live life and other ways to find success. I'm on couchsurfing to meet other like minded travelers--and hopefully keep my trip going longer by saving money on lodging and getting to see the real parts of cities :)

I can teach English, math, violin and singing, and pretty endless culture and philosophy and religion analysis. I love to share music, cooking, conversation, gardening and farming skills, book recommendations, etc.
I would love to learn more languages (I have fledgling Hindi and mediocre French already) and, of course, more about other cultures, cooking, dancing, music.
