Travel reminds me how I want to live my life - surrounded by amazing people, eating delicious food, laughing, learning, listening, evolving. I’m so grateful for my experiences abroad. It has shaped me into who I am.

I’m on Couchsurfing as a way to be a part of a travel community. I am the first in my family to do extensive traveling and living abroad so learning from other community members has been a great way to overcome my fears and challenges. For me, traveling has been a wonderful method of healing. Traveling has taught me how to make space in my heart for joy and resilience.

I took a gap year and backpacked Europe solo at 18. I worked my first retail job at Target to make it happen.

Respect, cleanliness, common courtesy. I’m happy to take hosts out for coffee/food, pay for gas, etc. I enjoy talking about the universe, values, our travel experiences, careers, anything! I also understand that life can be busy and hosts have a lot going on. I would never expect a tour guide!
