About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finish my service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique before pursuing a PA degree. I work with secondary school students to increase literacy in the children in our community. I also am the Provincial Coordinator for REDES, a country-wide organization of youth groups for girls that teaches sex-ed, self esteem, and leadership skills.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 22 year old who enjoys traveling by bike, bus, and train. I'm big into baking, rock climbing, camping, and music festivals. I'm chatty but love to dig into a good book and pass a day in silent reading. I'm pretty flexible in my entertainment - I love a wild party night or a quiet one spent in with good company and conversation.
PHILOSOPHY
Be awesome in everything that you do or spend your time trying.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with a couple in Chicago in Jan 2013. Such a wonderful experience! They opened their home to two friends and myself while we backpacked through their city. Together we made dumplings and enjoyed homemade bread while making paper cranes.
While travelling to Bonnaroo 2015 my (soon to be) partner and I couch surfed in Indianapolis twice (there and back again). Was fantastic to learn about his participation in Food Not Bombs and local community outreach.
Interests
Women's health, HIV-care, Peace Corps, community youth development, maternal health, letter-writing, rugby, rock climbing, hiking, camping, music, ecology, friendly people who want to make new friends.
