I'm a real big dork with real big aspirations of seeing this world. That being said, I'm dirt poor and travelling is really expensive.... ANYWAY
I love video games and when I'm not playing them, I'm drawing or doing some other form of art... Or sleeping I suppose, or I guess working.

I'm going to be super-duper honest. I've had a really tough time for a lot of my life and as I grow more introspective, I've realized that I cannot progress with my life where I am at in the world. I am very stuck, and as I want to branch out and touch the sky, all of the people in my life seem content to rest in the mud and grow stale. I believe I would thrive somewhere in which art is appreciated, like the west coast of the US- somewhere completely different than where I live now.

Also, pretty pretty please do not offer me alcohol. I do not mind if you drink. I have tasted it before, but I believe I cannot like it because of circumstances involving my father. I am also currently only 20, so actually drinking the stuff is illegal in the US, not that it matters to everyone... but I digress. I am very displeased when offered alcohol. I know, I know... I'm a party pooper.

As a person of low income, I don't make enough money to be able to afford hotels. I even still live with my mom, which really peeves me. I want to see the world, though, as we are all born to this world and it belongs to all of us. Being confined to one tiny corner of the world has always frustrated me, and I want to see new things and experience new places. Did I get that backwards? Hm.

I feel like crashing in someone's spare room or on their couch would rule; I'd have a friend to tell me about the area and a home to come back to every night.

Hmm, as far as what I like in music, I'll listen to just about anything, as long as it isn't mean? Or if it's 'mean,' it has to be comical like Ninja Sex Party. But as far as favorites, I really love Radiohead, Gorillaz, anything from the super cringey fandoms I happen to be a part of, and just a lot of stuff... I'm into that really almost-but-not-quite-dubstep sound that's electronic and stuff right now. I don't know what it's called, and I don't feel like looking it up will accomplish anything.

As far as movies.... I guess I like a lot of mainstream stuff, as long as it has a decent plot. I'm not as into movies as I used to be. I am always up for a Disney movie, though.

And BOOKS. Uh Lurd. I really don't want to get started on this, so I'm just going to say that my favorite series is the Inheritance Cycle (Eragon Books), and I like me a really good plot driven fantasy. That generally goes for video games too, but there are quite a few exceptions,

I am really good at art. In fact, it's all I'm good at... No.. wait... I'm good at crying. But let's pretend we don't know that, yes? I could teach you a lot about drawing or even give you an English lesson you really don't want.

I am twenty years old, and my family has refused to teach me to drive. If you could offer me that, I would be so grateful. I would even really appreciate a mentor kind of relationship.

I'm really looking to learn Japanese and ASL, though that's not the goal of my couchsurfing. I know some basics of ASL, and- as for Japanese- I only know some Hiragana and a few phrases, as I've had to self teach from the internet.

I am a very... ahem- 'unique' individual, and I can guarantee I will do something weird that will make you cock your head in confusion at least once. Unless that's not what you do when you're confused; then I can't guarantee it.

I could cook, clean... even pay rent if you really want me to do so. I'm pescatarian, (vegetarian, but BONUS! I eat fish... And bugs too, I guess. I'd probably eat goods made from cricket flour, or a nicely prepared bug-on-a-stick) so I would probably make that, given the option, but I will make anything you ask for and have available.

I can also draw! I love art! Any form of it is really amazing, but my favorite is trying to fit a 3D world into a 2D plane. Oh it's beautiful to see the world come to life through a paper window... ANYWAY, I could draw a portrait of you! Or portraits! Or draw anything, really! I love to make things for others.
