HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My goal is to be a respectful and gracious guest to those that are kind enough to share their culture, language, and perspective on life with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to CS, but I've lived with many host-families in Ecuador and Spain. I believe that these experiences have given me the skills to be a kind and respectful Surfer.

I love foreign films (especially Spanish cinema and any film directed by Pedro Almodóvar since I specialize in Audiovisual Translation)! I'm a huge fan of David Fincher and Quentin Tarantino.

As for books, I crack up over any essay/book written by David Sedaris and I'm a voracious reader for any book I can grab on travel writing or language acquisition.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1.) Helping rebuild a school in the Dominican Republic

2.) Riding horses up the Andes Mountains in Ecuador and jumping in waterfalls...the natural energy was incredible

3.) For one month this past August I hitchhiked and carpooled across 6 countries from Madrid to Prague. It was an incredibly mind-opening experience and only further proof of the innumerable friendly people and opportunities to learn in this world.
