ABOUT ME
My name is Miranda. I live in Shoreline Washington, just 10 miles north of downtown Seattle.
My roommate and sister, Alaina and I have lived her since the beginning of this year. We share a 2br 2bath with our black cat, Sunny.
In our spare time Alaina and I love to travel, be outdoors, make weird faces, and dance our asses off.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
About two years ago, I moved from Jacksonville North Carolina back here to Seattle. I drove all the way. I mostly camped, but couchsurfed with a fella in Chicago. Amazing experience. He helped my friend and find free parking, helped bring all our stuff up, and even had dinner and a movie ready for us on arrival.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my drive from North Carolina to Seattle, my best friend and I were on a highway. We spotted a small handicapped bus full of boys. We did our usual girly things, smiled and sped off.
A couple rest stops later, we ran into the same bus and found out they were in a metal band. We ended up getting invited to one of their gigs later that night where we happened to rent out a hotel.
We bought tickets to their show, and hung with them after in their bus. They were some really amazing genuine people. My friend got along really well with one of them, and I happened to click with the lead guitarist, and we exchanged numbers and said our goodbyes when they went back to their home town of Madison Wisconsin.
The next morning we ended up back tracking 3 hours, and stayed with them at Madison for two days. My friend and I left a piece of ourselves in Madison that year.
2 years later, I reconnected with the guitarist on FB and found out they were touring the west coast, where we lived. My current roommate, and sister, Alaina and I took last minute sick days from work and drove all the way down to California from Seattle to meet up with them.
We ended up touring with them for a week, starting in North California, leading all the way south to San Diego. That whole week, we stayed in our cars, random peoples floors in their house, a tent, and in the tour bus parked in Walmart and Petco parking lots.
I have never had that much fun in my life. The people I met, the things I experienced, the places I slept. I truly was a metal band roadie.
Almost half a year later, The Guardians have broken up and have gone their separate ways, but we all still talk and are on good hands.
