I am on couch surfing because I love traveling and meeting people. I believe the best way to explore a city is to have a local show me around. I refuse most tourist spots and would much rather 'become a ...er' (i.e. become a londoner)

i hate these questions..way too hard to answer

i like a genre of music that includes artists like washed out, toro y moi, and hooverphonic. maybe throw in some good acoustic stuff and that's about it.

movies are a tossup for me. my quick go to is musicals (i was a theatre geek) and wes anderson. maybe some tarantino for good measure.

each and every book that changes my life. ask and you will get so many recommendations. current book: everything is illuminated (SaFran)

waking up in the morning to see the sunrise in the swiss alpes. i never wanted to leave.

in china, we were sitting in a circle with a lot of chinese students and sharing games and songs. i knew them for a month and they are still some of my closest friends.
