About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Building a clay studio in SE Portland and enjoying a few months of sunny weather!
ABOUT ME
I have been living in SE Portland since 2010, where I am working to establish my small production pottery studio, Sego Lily Pottery. My days are occupied by working in the garden, cooking food, making pots, hiking, and going to as many shows by local musicians as I can. In the winter I teach kids how to ski on Mt. Hood. I haven't done much traveling afar lately, but I love exploring new places in the Pacific Northwest and have found so many magical spots here!
I am extremely enthusiastic about food - growing, cooking, and eating!
I like to learn new things every day and spend my time with people who stimulate my intellect as well as imagination.
My friends are my family and the place(s) I live fundamentally inform who I am.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't tend to question why I am here, I just know that I am and I need to live it up! Loving people is the only way to change the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to host a lot when I was first living in Portland, but have been too occupied starting my business to do much surfing or hosting these days - hopefully I'll be back in the game soon!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Nothing much lately.
We hosted quite a few surfers fom 2010-2012 at my house and met so many supercool people!
I surfed in SLC summer 2010 and had a wonderful experience. I went canoeing with the Cache Valley CSers summer 2009 and had a blast!

also, once I saw the northern lights from an airplane - crazy!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would dearly love to learn how to silk-screen! also, I want to learn Spanish/any other language really.
