I'm a Finnish 24-year-old business student. Because of my rather quiet and calm nature I might seem a bit shy but I really enjoy getting to know new people, especially from different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet amazing people while traveling. I love hearing and sharing stories about culture and life in general. Talking with different people is such a great way to learn and get new views on life.
Someday, maybe when I'm less occupied with school, I would also love to try to work as a host.

Interests

I love music, especially live. I volunteer at a rockclub in Finland and I think working there is one of the best possible ways to spend my free time, thanks to the amazing workmates and live music.
I also like cooking, reading, photography, art, handicrafts and of course traveling.
I might not be good very with small talk but I really enjoy having good conversations and sharing stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: My taste in music varies a lot depending on my mood, but if you allow me to be extremely vague, I can just say that I love rock and metal music. For example, Rammstein and David Bowie are my all time favourites.

Movies: Hayao Miyazaki's films, Quentin Tarantino's films and Tim Burton's films are usually my favourites.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy cooking so making food together would be great.
I can tell more or less interesting stories about the Finnish culture. ;-)
