Music, Movies, and Books
Books: If you are going to ask me about books, trust that I will mention Harry Potter or a funny autobiography by a comedian (Bossypants, anyone?). That's not to say I won't give any other books a whirl, being an English major and all, I'm interested in a wide variety of both theory and literature.
Music: If the beat is good, its makes my heart happy, or it's super catchy and I can pick up the lyrics, I'll love jamming out to it in the car or while cooking a delicious meal.
Movies: I am willing and able to something that's going to have a good story. If it caught my attention, I'll probably watch some interviews with the cast, or the director's commentaries, and I'll definitely want to talk about it afterward!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved across the the Atlantic to London, UK for a semester of my undergrad. While there, I met new people, saw new places (e.g. Spain, Ireland), and I won a plan ticket from Air Canada for their Christmas commercial. That meant I could return the following summer, so I went to Belfast, where I "surfed" with a wonderful family of three for a few weeks. (Shoutout to the people in Ireland for being incredibly welcoming!)
Teach, Learn, Share
Give me an unmarked map of the world, and I'll be able to name 100% of the countries on a good day. (At least 85%+ on a bad day.) There's approximately 197, depending on who you ask. It would be pretty cool to meet someone from every single one!
