ABOUT ME

I'm just a normal girl with a bad case of wanderlust. When I was growing up we moved all the time, I blame my need to relocated every few years on my parents.
I graduated from journalism school, worked as editor of a weekly for a while, decided I didn't want to get caught up in "office life" and took off to Denmark, where I lived (briefly) as a child. After three months of providing full time childcare, I'm looking for a job, preferably in journalism, but at this point, I'd just like to work, so I'd take almost anything to start off with.
I live in Hamburg, Germany, where I am writing my Master's thesis in journalism and media studies. The basis of my program has been an intercultural experience with 37 people from 19 countries that have lived in 3 european countries together, attending 3 of 5 universities over two years to complete a Master's degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've really only borrowed couches of friends I already knew, or friends of a friend.
Other than that, I've organized a get together for hosts in Copenhagen to get to know each other.... met some great people!
