First of all my name is Mickey, this might be a tad confusing considering the fact that my profile says Mirco, why you might ask? "Because i'm fine and will blow your mind, hey Mickey!" Jokes aside, the name is a bit hard for people to pronounce here in South Africa so it makes it a lot easier going for something generic.

I am a genuine, down to earth, born and bred South African who has recently decided to do what any sane and rational person would do... quit my job and travel the world.

If I were to describe myself in a simple way, i would consider myself to be humorous, kind, passionate and always willing to learn.

I plan on embarking on a once in a life time journey and sincerely hope that most of you reading this will form part of my adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing for a couple of reasons.

I truly believe that the best way of experiencing a new place is to experience it with its people, to be immersed in their culture and to understand all of our unique differences and similarities throughout the world.

To share knowledge, stories, laughter, joy and to ultimately grow as a person.
