Hello, my name is.... ouch! I think that is already a bumpy start because it sounds too boring, right? Well, I personally think it is hard to describe yourself, especially if you are like me and quite critically of your own personality and always strive for perfection, which you know of doesn't exist, but you still want it because you have an image in your mind that starts to mock you because it is there and looks perfect - so it must be true, mustn't it? Well, I guess now you have learned that I am quite (I stress quite) talkative.... and that is why I am really bad at writing summaries. Not only because I like to say a lot, it is that to me lots of details seem important and not too detailed that I would find it undetailed to not mention those details.That is why it seems an impossible task to write something about myself in a small box. I guess it would be easier to have a real conversation instead ;-)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like a lot to listen to the radio (mostly the stations which most of the people listen to) so I would say that my taste in music is quite a common one. I usually listen to everything, which after repeatedly listened to it I will most likely like more than after the first time. However, I don't really like techno and electrics, even after listening to it more than 3 times ;)
I love to read biographies and history books but also like comedy and real life stories or made up ones but there is a good chance that they could be true or even may have been with just a little deviation, if that makes any sense.
In movies I definitely like comedy but can't watch horror. One of my favorite movies would be Johnny English. But I also really liked a German movie with the title "Monsieur Claude und seine Töchter" of which there is to my knowledge no English version. Anyway, it is about a French family. The dad Mr Claude has 5 daughters. Mr Claude and his wife are quite Catholic. Their 5 daughters, however, all marry a guy from a different culture and/or religion which obviously leads to misunderstandings and heated discussions. It is - of course - a comedy :D I could tell you more about this movie if you like ;)

I have been an exchange student in New Zealand and survived living so far away from home. After that I couldn't stop traveling anymore.

I have stayed at my Japanese friend's house for about a month although I don't like fish!!!

I am a Cubs leader for English kids (it's like scouts but for the younger ones)

That is a hard one, especially for me as I want to become a teacher in the future. I really like to teach and explain things... but I guess it always depends on the context and people's interest as well as their prior knowledge!
