Overview
About Me
Last year I made a decision to finally fulfill my biggest dream. It took me a year to gather the funds, plan the route and prepare myself for this journey. I set off in July ’17. It should take around 3 years to complete this trip.
During this trip I would like to run a lot of projects and here’s some of them:
- continuation of conquering World’s Biggest Volcano Summits
- photo reports about religious minorities in Caucas and Karrakorum
- conservation and catalog of polish memorials in Eastern Europe and Asia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always tried to do a Slow Travel in order to become familiar with the country, its regions and most importantly, people. Thanks to the Couch Surfers Community I managed to meet extremely kind and inspiring local citizens. They gave me an opportunity to see hidden, off the beaten track places and told me unforgettable stories. Even the best tourist guides wouldn’t be able to offer that.

Music, Movies, and Books
As far as the music is concerned it is indie rock, electronic and folk. However I am open minded about different music styles. Recently I have been discovering Russian artists like Nabatov, Atlantida Project and Oligarkh - „Anatoly” is a master.
I read mostly about travelling, war related literature and reports. My fav authors are: Kapuscinski, Jagielski, Clelland, Ohler, Nikulin, Paniuszkin, Aleksijewicz, Supergan and Bukowsky.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So far my most significant achievements are: winter climbing In Merak Peak and Island Peak region, two military tour in Afganistan and last but not least traverse in south part of Andes Mountains.
Nevertheless I hope to have the most amazing experiences of my life are yet to come.
