About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Backpacking through South America
ABOUT
I grew up in a big family and small apartment in Brooklyn, NY. Most of my time has been between New York and Montenegro. Recently, I've made my way through Alaska, Oregon and California &now plan on going all the way down west to Chile.
I've always been interested in travel because of the stories that come with them. Different people's lives and meanings excite me- and that's really the only explanation I have for anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A couple of years ago a 24 hour layover in Turkey had me buy a visa and venture into the city with no plan. Hours later I was busy eating fresh dates and nuts when I realized it was midnight and I was a long way from the airport.
I ran into a veteran couchsurfer a few minutes later. She was from Istanbul and invited me to her home with her family.
Through her I learned what it really meant to travel. I hope to continue that tradition of travel as I make my way through South America. My itinerary is open, & with that said,
“Better to sleep in an uncomfortable bed free, than sleep in a comfortable bed unfree.”
― Jack Kerouac, On the Road
