About Me

I'm currently working as educator with disabled and disadvantaged people, refugee seekers and homeless people. I have an educational background in anthropology and a big passion for everything concerned with being human and humanity: its diversity, richness, history, culture, social and natural environment...I truly believe in the powerful force for change made by people's connection and understanding of each other, creating the conditions for personal and communitarian development. Have big dreams and big ideas for new projects and new forms of social cooperation in the works :)
Love to look for what is unique and beautiful among common things and people, to simply enjoy the simple things, living the time slowly and fully.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have serious wanderlust:) I love to travel, to wander and explore, to discover myself through the others and to discover every time a little bit more about the crazy world we live in, challenging my perspectives to find new horizons. Couchsurfing is an awesome way of creating exchange and connection between people, to share something about each other, to meet some wonderfull strangers that many times are able to make my day and to enrich my life

Interests

I'm fascinated by the creativity of humans' hands combined with some ancient wisdom. I create ceramics art and objects, but also bread and pies:) Also, I'm in love with the power and energy of nature. I enjoy spending time in nature, observing and learning from the environment and the other living beings, but also feeling my own body and its movements as a part of it. I organize outdoor educational activities and I love it, but also hiking/walking (long-distance and camping is the best way), doing yoga and meditation.
I make homemade soaps and other natural products, loving the combination of natural ingredients and herbs to make something good for our wellbeing and for the environment. Plus the creation/transformation process is amazing and stunning each and every time for me! The ways in which the materials merge together to create something completely new and different... it's chemistry and it's fascinating :)
What else? I love the energy and the enthusiasm of the kids and the truth of people with mental health issues or disabilities and I like so much to stay with them, smile together and being uncommonly crazy together.
