About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to make the most of my year in Georgia
ABOUT ME
Hi! I am a recently-graduated Fulbright student in Tbilisi, Georgia, where I am working at ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites). I will be in Tbilisi from September 14, 2012 to May 29, 2013.
I am currently able to host and/or show surfers around Tbilisi! Please read my couch description on the left--unfortunately I CANNOT host male surfers (not my decision--take it up with my neighbors). Seriously, do not contact me for couch requests--I cannot fulfill them, and I will turn them down, no exceptions. Send me a message if you will be in Tbilisi and want to meet up at some point during your visit, or if you want any advice about travel in Georgia. For quick reference, here is a Google Map I made with points of interest marked out: http://goo.gl/maps/uaR49
I'm a student of cultural and historic preservation, meaning I constantly study Tbilisi's architecture and history. I also love to explore, so when I can't get on a plane to do that then I'm all over the backroads, finding the cool things people often overlook.
I'd love to show you around!
PHILOSOPHY
"You never Enjoy the World aright, till the sea itself floweth in your veins, till you are clothed with
the heavens and crowned with the stars: and Perceiv yourself to be the Sole Heir of the whole
World, and more so, because men are in it who are evry one Sole Heirs as well as you."
(Thomas Traherne, 1670)
