About Me

I'm an open-minded and practical person who loves traveling, exploring other cultures and languages. People often tell me that I'm very organized, especially at work, but I can also get spontaneous if I want to :)
Once I played the well-known game "Never have I ever" and had to drink quite often. My life isn't boring after all I guess.

Always trying to care about the environment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet new people for a good talk, a party or a picnic.
I use Couchsurfing mostly for hangouts - both in Vienna and the places I'm visiting; less often for surfing. Since I'm a night owl and work mostly in the late evening/at night, it's quite complicated for me to host people in times I'm busy with work. But you can give it a try and send me a request anyway, of course :)

We can speak any language I've listed on my profile. However, I would love to practise my Polish since there are not many opportunities to speak this language in Austria :)

Music, Movies, and Books

There is no specific music I like all the time, depends on the mood. In general I listen to rock or pop music, sometimes electronic. I don't like techno and rap.
Lately I'm enjoying Marvel and DC movies a lot but I can watch almost any kind of movies, from the very sophisticated ones to the really easy ones.
12 angry men is one of my favourite movies.
I like reading crime books and good novels. One of the best books I've ever read is Death is my trade by Robert Merle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won quite some money at a casino in Las Vegas. I lost it just a few minutes later but that's not the important part.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy discussions about languages and living in different countries. I can tell you about my experiences from the Czech Republic, where I grew up, Austria, where I live, or Poland, where I was studying for a few months.

If you'll come to Vienna, I can show you how to get lost in the city, teach you some useless German phrases, make pictures of a really poor quality and we can spend a night out so that you either won't remember anything or you'll wish to not remember it. It will be fun ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook and bake and talk about everything and nothing.
