About Me
Hey guys, my name is Miriam :-)
I have always been a very independent and curious person which is why I love to travel solo and with friends. I had my best experiences when staying with locals, that's why I'm here!
I love reading, painting, running and travelling, learning new languages, exploring new places and meeting people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people, especially locals, is the best thing one can do when traveling!
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music, currently I am mostly into indie, jazz and classical music.
I am a huge film nerd, I love "In the Mood for Love", "Lost in Translation" and everything by Wes Anderson, and an even bigger book nerd. Some of my favourite books are "Americanah", "In Search of the Lost Time" and "Giovanni's Room".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Since everybody around here relates this category to traveling, Ill do that too. I and some others built a raft and drifted down the Klarälven in Sweden.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you how to fold Origami cranes and teach you some words in the languages I know, especially German of course. In return I am curious to learn any foreign language you know.
I'd love to share my thoughts on life and the world and get to know yours. I'm just getting started on world traveling so I'd really like to hear your stories.
