About Me
¡Hi! ^^
We are Miriam and Didac, a couple from Barcelona decided to discover every inch of our "little" world.
You can follow us on Instagram @sabrosoviaje
⚠️ Recently, we've been busy with personal projects that demand a lot of our time, so we're unable to host anyone at the moment. We hope to contribute to this community again soon! 🙏

Who are we? Both of us have grown in a town near Barcelona. We met in Highschool in 2008 and we have been together since.
We love travelling, meeting people around the world and sharing talks about culture and traditions, we love learning new languages, hiking, walking, running, yoga, crossfit, football, cinema, series, music... Oh, and definetly food is one of our favourite things (top 1 even). We love sharing food recipes, cooking and kitchen moments... you know, "taste the world"!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We want to discover our "little" world through the people we met and not from the tourist office of each place. We feel much more fullfilled when we know from the day to day of local people. Also, we love when it is a reciprocal proces: we would share our point of view and traditions from where we come from, and if you have not the opportunity to know about Barcelona, Barcelona (or at least a little part) can come to you to be discovered.
For that reason we believe in Couchsurfing and we are willing to share our good vibes with you too.
Interests
We are two adventurous persons who love any plan that involves sports, going out, hiking... doing Crossfit or yoga are some of our passions!
Miriam has improved her quality of life thanks to nutrition and she found a great passion for cooking.
Dídac has been always a very sportive person, playing football since he was a child (despite his quality is not a sign of it...), and nowadays practicing Crossfit as a new way to find his limits. Also learning languages has been a great interest!
Both of us love also board games night with friends, hiking or biking!

Music, Movies, and Books
Sci-fi and action films are good option to have a good time. Romantic or comedies are also cool sometimes. A good horror film will be more than OK for Didac, but Miriam doesn't share the same opinion... ^^'
About music, we find usually acoustic covers of famous songs even better than originals ones. A little bit of Evanescence or Linkin Park are also gladly accepted.
It is not difficult to find us with a book in our hands. Adventures, classics, sci-fi, love stories... difficult to choose only one type.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling around together for 7 months around north and central America.
Going around different countries in Europe through Interrail for almost one month.
Sleep alone under the stars of Erg Chebbi desert in Morocco.
Wake up with a magnificent sunrise in Monument Valley.
Sharing delicious meals while travelling with people we find along the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
We love sharing experiences, stories and getting to know people all around!!
We would love sharing our cooking recipes as well as our understanding of nutrition as a way to feed your soul and your body at the same time.
We can teach you Spanish and Catalan lessons.
Also we are more than able to share our traditions in Catalunya and let you discover our little country a bit more.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We are willing to listen your stories and talking about anything just in order to have a good time.
We are always ready to prepare breakfasts, as well as any other lunch if there is occasion 🤗
We can help with anything you need!
