About Me
My name is Miriam and I am one year away from finishing my bachelors degree in nursing! I am an avid traveler, and spend a lot of time in the woods backpacking and camping. I am currently working on a documentary about the closure of USAID and how it will affect global health outcomes!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couch surfing while I work on my documentary. The project will take me to DC, Kenya and Peru to obtain footage for the final film!

I spent a year living in the woods backpacking while working for a wilderness therapy organization. We took teenagers into the backcountry for over 100 days while they worked with a therapist to address their inner demons.
