Dear all! My name is Miriam and I am currently finishing my studies in political and cultural sciences in Lisbon, after having spent the last years in Leipzig, Germany. The pandemic interrupted my international experiences, but being in Lisbon now I would like to start traveling again, though in a more conscient and calmer way than during my voluntary service.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my voluntary service in France back in 2015/16, I was traveling a lot, often with and through Couchsurfing. The experiences I made were mostly wonderful, I met amazing people and above all, I learned a lot about myself. Couchsurfing has changed my vision of people around me and made me more positive and open-minded.

Interests

As most couchsurfers I love traveling, speaking foreign languages and getting to know other people. For me, there is nothing better than a good discussion with a person I like. Talking, sharing, learning. :)
