About Me
Hey,
I'm Miriam, 20 years old and from Germany. Last spring I finished my school education and since then I've been traveling around with friends, as a volunteer and also on my own. I was two weeks in Ukraine and taught children English, went to the Sziget festival in Budapest with my friends and traveled a bit in Latin America. I was also in Japan (my teenage-dream) for quite a while. Now I'm a student in lovely Groningen in the Netherlands and don't get to travel that much anymore.
I'm relaxed and open-minded and I love music and food :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm still young and a budget traveler. But I also like the couch surfing community and would like to get to know more people. I believe it can be a far more interesting experience to get to know a place with a local who can give you some great tips and show you their culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
Staples I love include Ray Bradbury's "The Martian Chronicles" and "1984" by Orwell.
My favorite movie is "her" by Spike Jonze (simply bc I watched it so many times without getting bored) and I like Kubrick.
Regarding music, I love almost everything. Especially rock but recently also more electronic, hip-hop and indie-pop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling solo in Nicaragua for 2 months. It was my first real trip on my own.
