About Me

CURRENT MISSION: Coming to Australia and NZ for a coupla months for work and love

Mandatory CS related quote (good one though)
"Stuff your eyes with wonder. Live as if you'd drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It's more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories. Ask no guaranties, ask for no security, there never was such an animal... Shake the tree and knock the great sloth down on his ass." - Fahrenheit 451

I work in a bunch of different jobs at home, but mostly arts press representation which is mad, busy, stressy and fun.
I get to work with a massive tribe of mad and fabulous art-humans.

I am veggie, probably quite important?

Trying to be zero waste, to be conscientious and aware and give a fuck.
"When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe." John Muir

Obvs I do washing up, and I am clean, tidy, friendly and fun. I like chilling but also partying.
Up For It.

I am involved in the organisation and decoration of a lovely wee Scottish festival: Audiosoup! If any of you are passing through Scotland in July, come along - we always need more volunteers.
~~ It is the loveliest, friendliest, most fun of all the festivals! ~~

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way to travel BY FAR. I've met so many amazing people through CS (both staying with them and just meeting up with people around me). When I lived in France, CS basically saved my life friend and fun-wise.
I owe this network ALOT

I like reading, yoga, wee festivals, dancing, cooking, cheese, travelling, origami, nonsense, art, speaking french, Scotland, knitting, ukulele, debating, curry (in all its forms), running, weird ass films, animation etc etc etc etc

Music, Movies, and Books

Writers: Margaret Atwood, Louis de Bernières, Isabel Allende, Roald Dahl, Doris Lessing, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

Music: At the moment, I am listening to Sylvan Esso, Laura Mvula, Ibeyi, Belle & Sebastian, Eels, The Shins..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I ever did skiing was on Svalbard, down a huge glacier, completely off piste, in touring skis. Difficult.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to... knit a scarf (shaped thing), make bangin' houmous, scottish slang, make origami, roll, do the square dance, various forms of genuinely amazing vegetable cakes, and many more highlights
I know a lot about books, I can recommend you a good one (or just tell you the story)

What I Can Share with Hosts

All of the above and also I hope a very enjoyable, fun, interesting, relaxed moment together!
