ABOUT ME
I totally am an "outdoorsy" type of person. I just love to be outside, biking, hiking, kajaking, snowboarding, snorkeling, canyoning or whatever activity you can spend your time with.
I think I am an easygoing and anything but demanding person. Usually I am happy and enjoy every bit of my life and it is quite hard to really upset me. Most of the time I am kind of quiet but when I get to know people better, that changes (a lot :) ).
PHILOSOPHY
"Someday baby we'll be old, oh baby we'll be old and think of all the stories that could have been told" (Asaf Avidan)
Lets go out there and find some stories that are worth telling! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because at Couchsurfing you get the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and you get to know places in a way you could never by discovering the country on your own :)
Interests
I just love to travel and see new places and meet new, amazing people, which is why I decided 2013 to do a year of Work & Travel in Canada after finishing my University degree.
The years before and after that, I spend most of my time studying (I did my Masters degree in Biology). I'm interested in plants and birds and environmental stuff but also toxicology has gotten me.
But besides studying, I had some time for going outside, doing biking tours, and went kajaking or swimming. And, of course, I love my friends and spend a lot of time with them.
In Canada I learned snowboarding and am absolutely amazed by that. I did some bird banding in Miami, Florida, as well as in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (which is a great but kind of unusual hobby).
And I love cooking, baking bread and reading books.
But in general I like everything better than sitting around and doing nothing ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just loved my solo-bike tour from Konstanz (Germany) to Utrecht (Netherlands), following the Rhine and staying at couchsurfing everywhere.
And the winter in Canada when I was working in a Heliskiing Lodge in the Canadian costal mountains was just amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you whatever I can, for example baking bread, some German or English. On the other hand I really want to learn as much as possible like cooking local food where I travel, and right now I try to learn Spanish =)
