About Me

Sometimes the idea turns out to look a bit different from what you imagine from the start. Sometimes it exceeds all your expectations.
Sometimes I feel great, like the world lays before my feet’s awaiting my curiosity to take its course. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with responsibilities, self-doubt and guilt. I guess I am very much like everyone else.
I am single mother, trying to do right by my son and myself.

I think that laying on the grass looking up at the crown of a tree can do a lot for your psychological wellbeing and music can cure almost everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think CS is a great way for people to start to regain trust in humanity. To work against fear, driven from the right-wing politics. To remind people that freedom of choice is a gift from past generations and is something we should protect. CS reminds us that there is not that much that separates it and us, CS also allows for the opportunity for like-minded people to meet, interact and evolve. Because it is only through interaction that people evolve.

Interests

Good music, travel, reading..

Music, Movies, and Books

I recently finished "Nonsense" by Jamie Holmes. It addresses the ambiguity in the world and how everything is relative. To cope one have to stereotype. But by doing so we jeopardise having an open mind and open heart. It's a topic I'd like to discuss further.

Stumbled up on a webpage the other day about the triangle of change that I'd like to read.

Other then that, atm, it's more or less, only non fictional addressing diffrent aspects with in the midwifery field.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've witnessed life been brought into this world and I've been with people as they leaves this world.

Teach, Learn, Share

Interested in common sense and what that might be.

Given my occupation, we could discuss women’s rights and the inequalities in the world that still exist. I could give you the speech about birth-control, sexual transmitted diceases, women's rights to free abortions, domestic violence and more along those lines ;-)

I'd love to learn more about how to think outside the box, self-development, self-awerness, self-sustainable living, gardening, enviromental issues, culture diversity, peace and conflict studies, yoga, meditation, dancing, singing, playing the guitar, outdoor sports from hiking an kayaking to mountain climbing and paragliding.
