About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Me and my boyfriend Michael were travelling around the world by bicycle - now we're about to settle down in Switzerland. (www.goingsouth.ch)

ABOUT ME

We're a young couple who like discovering new places. We have both just graduated (Miriam: German & English, Michael: Mechatronic Engeneering). We love being 'on the road' and are always in a good mood!

PHILOSOPHY

We both love meeting new people and get to know different cultures.
We're spontaneous, open-minded and uncomplicated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We'd like to connect travelling with meeting new people to get to know their way of living.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Together we have used couch surfing and warm showers (Michi-Miriam) a couple of time. We loved each time and met some great people every single time!

Michael and his friend Lukas had some great experiences with CS on their 8 months cycling journey, especially in Turkey and Iran. (www.veloabenteuer.ch)

For some other 'references' you can also check out the profile of Michaels friend Lukas Eglin.

Interests

Miriam: Music (Flute) and literature.
Michael: Music (French Horn) and sports (endurance and winter sports).
We both like doing outdoor activities, such as hiking and cycling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We travelled around the world by bicycle for one year... That is the most amazing thing we've done so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

‘Give a man fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.’ However, successful development assistance begins not with giving fish or teaching how to fish, but rather with understanding whether this person wants to fish.
