About Me

I am a Melbournian currently travelling. When I am home I work in hospitality and with non-profit organisations while studying a Masters of Sustainability.

I love travelling for the obvious reasons and have spent the past 5 years working, travelling and studying in Australia, Europe and South America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was hosted a few times in Europe and South America.

All my CS stays have been unique. What I enjoy most about the people I stayed with was their generosity and their passion for travel, their city and for meeting people.

Interests

Some of my favourite things to do are going out for good food and drinks with mates, running, swimming, hiking and sleeping. I love a good book or film recommendation and can easily lose myself in a television series.

I have become very interested with sustainbility practices and the environment. I hope to work in the sustainability or environental industry in some way or another when I return home to Melbourne.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music - anything relaxing that doesn`t hurt my ears. I enjoy people like Sufjan Stevens, Ben Kweller, The tallest man on earth, Wilco, Bright Eyes, Justin Townes Earle, Jason Isbell, Alicia Keys, etc.

Movies - I'm a geek at heart and love Star Wars an Star Trek features. Rom-coms, thrillers, art-house and action all have a time and place on my screen.

Books - I like the older books - To kill a Mockingbird, Wuthering Heights, Oscar Wilde (any) as well as local talents such as Tim Winton. My boyfriend has recently gotten me onto David Foster Wallace's writing, which is incredible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking and camping in patagonia and Peru with muy bofriend has been the greatest experience of my life. I was never a camper when I grew up but am loving it the more and more I do it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning Spanish, if you can practice with me that would be amazing!
Vice-versa if you are learning we can practice together.

I can share my travel stories and am keen to learn yours.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences, my humour and my positivity all come for free. I can be your Melbourne connection and am happy to share any skill or idea that you may find useful.

Countries I’ve Visited
