About Me

I love people, beauty and truth.
I have been travelling and living in different countries. I have been back home in Italy since October 2011 and have two children.
I try to keep learning about life and to keep travelling as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet people who think differently, and who have stories to share. I like true conversation and the sharing of lifes. I like to try to catch a glimpse more of the mistery of life, through nature and through people.
I like to meet new people and organizing events.

Interests

I study Arabic and Persian dances and studied some Arabic music too. I used to be an avid reader and still love to read when I have a chance.
I love taking walks in nature and enjoy the open space with friends.
I am fascinated by the poliedric and contradictory nature of most human beings.
I love the sea, just being immersed in the turquoise colors makes me feel a deeper connection with life.
I love cooking and have been practising yoga for several years. I also love tea, especially pure Chinese teas.
And of course, I love travelling!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

My most precious books are the brothers Karamazov, and the one thousand and one nights. I also love M. Duras. M. Yourcenar, V. Woolf and R. Shami. I read anthropology and psychoanalisis from time to time, especially Kerenyi and Jung.
I do not have a favourite movie but I enjoy non-intellectual yet thoughtful movies like X-man.
Right now I am listening mostly to Arabic and Persian music, but would be interested in experimenting with Chinese and contemporary music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two months living in Beirut, dedicating myself just to spending time with people and exploring the middle East. While living there, I went so many times to Damascus just strolleying in the city centre sinking in its millenary story, and took an amazing one-week trip in Jordan.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn about cooking, stories, yoga and dancing.

I can teach about languages, dancing and something about yoga, and a lot about Physics and the universe. I also took several courses in genetics.

I like to share food and life experiences.
