Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to keep on traveling, meet interesting people, and master the electric guitar.
ABOUT ME
Urgh ... I always hate having to describe myself. I guess I could say that I get along with lots of different types of people. I love going to concerts and often combine travels with a gig. I do a lot of stuff alone because my friends have family commitments or different interests. I've gotten quite used to traveling alone but now that I have discovered couch surfing I'm looking forward to hanging out with some locals in the cities I visit.
PHILOSOPHY
What goes around comes around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would be really happy to show people from all over the world around Frankfurt.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have friends all over the world and whenever possible I go to visit someone and end up crashing on their couches (well, in most cases they actually have a nice, big bed for me). But I can't remember ever staying with anyone I don't really know. I did meet one of my best friends on an airplane, which is kind of unique.
Interests
Music (mostly alternative/indie rock), traveling, going to concerts all over the world, my electric guitars (I'm still a beginner unfortunately), dancing, good food and good wine.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is really important. In the 80s I was into goth and loved bands like the Cure, Siouxsie, the Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, etc. Now I love BFMV, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, Maximo Park, the Silversun Pickups, Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, Muse, the White Stripes, the Kooks, and even some old school and newer metal ... excellent new bands are coming out all the time these days. I really can hardly keep up.
Movies: I liked "Crash", "My Cousin Vinny", all the Austin Powers movies, "12 Angry Men", and I want to see "Control." The best movie I have seen in ages is a German movie I recently saw called "Kirschblueten - Hanami".
Books: The Perks of Being A Wallflower, Marley & Me, and um ... I should really read more. I'm a slow reader ...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach German and English and a bit about wine. If you can play guitar and give me a bit of advice, that would be cool!
