About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to plan and save up for the best half year ever in South Africa!
ABOUT ME
As a Dutch girl I like to travel to sunny destinations, since we don't have any sun to enjoy most of the year. I grew up with parents who like to go on holidays closeby so when I had the age to travel alone I took it and I haven't stopped since! I have traveled so much the past couple of years and I am addicted to it by now :). I love to meet new people and I'm really open for new opinions and philosophies! I love to see a lot of beautiful places and have good talks :)
About my personality.. I am very unpredictable, I even surprise myself sometimes. Oh and as you see on my pictures, I don't like to be alone on pictures, the more the merrier!
PHILOSOPHY
Happiness is the most important thing in life. True happiness can be found in appreciating the little things in life and sharing it with others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It is always quite a challenge to find a host, but when you do, it is amazing! I went hitchhiking through Germany and we stayed at a guys caravan on the beach.. it was the best time of the holiday. Last summer I went with a friend to Croatia, we didn't plan anything. We could stay last minute at a guys place and we had such a great time together. It is so special to meet new people in unfamiliar countries.
Interests
I like painting, traveling, watching good tvshows, doing spontaneous and new things, discover the unknown!

Music, Movies, and Books
Forrest Gump is the best movie ever. I love disclosure, coldplay, london grammar, lot of dutch artists (like splendid, chef special, sticks, kern koppen) there is actually not much i don't like... books: I recently finished the rosie project, loved it! also the hungergames and I hate to admit it, but when I was younger i loved to read the twilight sage...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So many amazing things.. on NYE I decided I didn't want to celebrate it in Holland and together with a friend I booked last minute tickets to Budapest to celebrate it there :). Also amazing was the hitch hike holiday from Wageningen to Barcelona with to study mates. We lived like real hobo's for two weeks!
