ABOUT ME

I'm a psychology student from Germany and just started doing my PhD at the university of Potsdam. In the past few years, I've been travelling a bit, and I lived in the U.S., Nepal, and New Zealand for a few months each. I loved staying in one place for a longer time and really getting to know the people and the place. Since now I've kind of settled down in one place in Germany, I miss meeting new people from all over the world. I hope Couchsurfing is going to change that!!

Interests

I love travelling, seeing different places, meeting interesting people but not losing touch with good friends, books and stories, nature and good food (even though I'm not really much of a cook...)

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything involving nice story-telling (Harry Potter!), adventures and travelling (Shantaram), wisdom (The Unbearable Lightness of Being) and a little bit of love and sadness (The Fault in Our Stars). I recently started reading Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and have loved all her books so far (e.g. Half of a Yellow Sun) :-).
