ABOUT ME

28 years. And each years seems more intense passionate, filled with learning than the previous. I am waiting for it to mellow out....but also enjoying each and every moment of the ride from the most agonizing to the most pleasurable.

PHILOSOPHY

I live on an Island north of Seattle. In the summertime it is one of the most beautiful brilliant magical places I have ever been. In the winter it is cold, dark, dreary, and introspective. Im into both, can't have the light without the dark, and I think a big part of life is learning to love and accept both. I'm on that mission these days- big time! Finding it all just fantastic, and as long as I stay rooted to the earth and all its wonders, and fix my gaze on the insanity of the milky way once in a while....I can do it, I can move through it all with GRACE and LOVE.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any directly through this site, but can I just say that the serendipity involved when you are brought in to a strangers home and treated with respect and immense hospitality, always makes me feel like some awesome power is looking out for me. One of my favorites, was while some friends of mine and I were visiting the Grand Canyon and ended up spending the evening at the home of this awesome old Hopi womans house...mmm fry bread...delicious! I convinced her whole family to play Charades with me...

Interests

Climbing, Swimming in Icy water, Soaking in hot water-post icy water swimming, Bicycling, Finding the hot new ingredient, tending the garden...even though I still have so much to learn in that world, my family of friends, trying to not be like my mother :o)

oooh snap. Krakauer is good to read, and Even Cowgirls Get The Blues by Tom Robbins. Ishmael changed my worldview and All I See is Part of Me was my first book...,
Paul Simon Graceland is probably my favorite album of all time. Im listening to the Avett Bros, and Florence and the Machine.. , and movies...no i can't even go there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Macchu Pichu, Ciudad Perdida, San Gorgonio. the woods behind my house. Kayaking/swimming in phosphorescents, oh man its endless really.
