Overview
About Me
I'm doing my PhD in Auckland since July this year about Tongariro Volcano. I try to use the weekends to travel as much as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I will spend the next 3 years in Auckland and I think couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to network, travel low budget and meet nice people that share similar interests.
Interests
I am crazy for volcanoes, therefore, I like hiking, cycling and pretty much everything outdoors. I love good food and prefer to cook fresh mainly vegetarian stuff. I would describe myself as quite talkative, so having a beer or a glas of wine in the evening with a good conversation is all I need for a nice day to end.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am not into hardcore metal or rock music, otherwise I am pretty much open to everything. I like reading and watching movies of any kind.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I slept one night next to the open crater of Stromboli Volcano in Italy, watching and listening to lava fountains all night long. That was an amazing experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like cooking, if we share the same taste, I would like to cook for or with you anytime! And of course as much as I like to talk about my experience and travels so far, I love to hear about others too!
