Hi there! My name is Mirjam. :) I was studying Primary teaching in Ljubljana for 6 years and now I moved back to my home village that is 1 hour away from Ljubljana. Just now I sadly can not except guest at my home, cause I'm not the owner of the place. Hopefully, I will find my own place really soon and after that I will be more than happy to be a host too!

And now a few words about me, I'm an extrovert person with a lot of energy, easy-going, open-minded and always up for an advanture. I am also the world traveller, so it's hard for me to stay in one place for too long.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just returend from America, where I was working in a family camp, next to a beautiful Squam lake in New Hampshire. After my summer work, I decided to do some travelling on the east coast of America, so we tried Couchsurfing for the first time. We really had a great experience, hosts gave us a place to stay, gave us a suggestions where to go and what to do, hang out with us ... What better cultural experience could we get?

Yet, I am home now and I am counting the days to go travelling again, so I decided with another friend to spent New Year in Berlin. Sara and me will be in Berlin from 28. 12. to 2. 1. We are really excited about the city, history, clubs etc. Having a place to crash some nights would really help us to make the Berlin experience even better.

Music, Movies, and Books

Series geek for sure, my favourite tv show would be Dexter, also How I Met Your Mother when I feel I need something more relaxing. :) Some other from the top of my list: Prison Break, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Mr.Robot, Chance, Stranger Things ...

I'm in love with mystery, drama and thriller movies. The ones form my tp list would definitely be: The Prestige, The Shutter Island, Atonement, The Departed, The Silence of the Lambs.

Mostly I listen to an alternative rock music and electronic music, especially tech-house, deep or techno.

I like to share my positive energy, humor and stories of my travelling - got planty of those. I am also very
flexible, I can be silent as a mice, if a host respects silence and privacy, or I can be the chit-chatty one, if a host would be interested in hanging out. Also, very neat and a good cook. ;)
