About Me

Hey, my name is Mirjam. I'm 23 years old and also currently trying to figure out, what I should do with my life, so I decided to travel solo until I find it out!

I use this app to connect with like minded people, so far I did more hangouts and events than getting hosted.

My trip started in February 2023 and I've been travelling in Asia and Europe and can't get enough! Always happy to talk with people about travelling and the countries we visited.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe in this community, where people have the same mindset of solidarity and sharing instead of dividing and being scared of each other.

Unfortunately I am not able to host surfers because I don't have an own appartment at the moment but I could imagine to meet Couchsurfers in Vienna and spend the day together or go out in the evening.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a lot of nice and exciting travel memories; for example seeing the beautiful landscape of Cappadocia with it's various shapes and forms, accidentally getting involved in a demonstration in Istanbul, camping in the balkans, visiting an occupied house in Berlin, experiencing the patriotism of the Irish on St. Patrick's Day, the Art Biennale in Venice, laying around at Vondelpark in Amsterdam.

2023 was an amazing travel year so far. In february I went to South East Asia for 3 months, then came back for festival season in europe and I am hoping to continue with such wonderful experiences this year!

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach you german if you're interested in that and how to make very spontaneous decisions to go on a trip

I'm open to learn many new things, especially interested in languages, history of the place you live in etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not only extreme appreciation for hosting me but also honest curiosity for my hosts life and environment! Would be happy to get to know the hosts well (for this short amount of time) and build real friendships!

I'm not a professional cook but I am able and happy to make good enough meals for you while being hosted 😄

Except of that I can practice German with you if you're interested in that.
