ABOUT ME

I like adventures - and I am not speaking of skydiving or bungeejumping right now - but I like being spontaneous, hiking for a week or more without a specific destination or fixed sleeping-places, or travelling to a country of which I don't speak the language, or checking out new kinds of sports just because I'am curious - like capoeira.
What I am currently doing is taking a gap year between my student live and taking a longterm job: currently I am not living in a fixed place, but I move to one place for some weeks to work there as a german teacher or to get further education or to be on holiday -
before moving to the next place, and so on: I like to discover what it means for me to be living there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Cafe Polyglotte in Toulon! - this is a bar in southern France where my couchsurfing experience started :)

After that, I started as a couchsurfer while travelling in France. then in Spain, Italy and Sweden.

Most of the time I met nice people who where showing me around, who became my friends . I would contact most of the people again, or try to be a good host.
Sometimes it was just for a beer in the evening, a place to sleep and a shower in the moring - which is also great!
then I started hosting people - spontaneously for a night or two - or even for a week when I had the time ...
