ABOUT ME

In my normal life in Holland I am a student at the University of Utrecht. I studied Spanish Language and Culture for one year and a half and then quit so I could work and save money for studying in Santiago de Chile for half a year. After that I am planning on seeing as much as possible from South America!
I love people, music, movies, art and cooking with friends and, off course, traveling and get to know the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I just want to enjoy my life without too much worries. Sometimes that's hard, but experiences, good or bad, make you a richer and wiser person.

I'm always in for a drink an showing my city. When I'm traveling I hope to meet a lot of people who are also willing to let me into their lives for a while!

I don't have any experience with Couchsurfing yet, but that's why I applied: I want to get the experiences!

Interests

Traveling off course! I'm in love with South-America and I want to see as much as possible from this great continent. But not only South-America, I'm interested in the whole world.
I also love art in all her expressions: music, visual art, movies etc.
Then languages and cultures, I love to get to know them! That's also why I'm enjoying traveling that much.
And last but not least: I'm very interested in having a great time with my friends, but also with people I don't know, to get to know them.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite band is Pearl Jam and I love everything that's a little bit like rock, alternative or indie.
There are so many movies I love, it's hard to make a selection of it! My favourite (at the moment) is Into the Wild.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was amazed by Machu Picchu and the rest of Peru. I hope I will be able to see much more of the world and experience the best things!

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak 3 languages very well and so that is what I can teach. There isn't a specific thing that I want to learn; I'm very openminded and interested in learning new stuff. From motorcycling to knitting, teach me whatever you know!
