I'm visual artist and art teacher from Finland. I'm into painting and communal arts.

I enjoy cooking vegetarian/vegan food, having winding conversations with interesting people, exploring places by bicycling, finding a treasure from fleamartket, going to good gigs and small festivals. I used to play bass in a punk band.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a way to connect to places via people who live there: exploring and experiencing real everyday life in a new environment. Everything is ordinary for someone. That's interesting.

Couchsurfing is based on a beautiful idea of sharing, encountering and exchange. You give and you get, but not necessary from the same person. Good goes around, everyone participates.

There's a responsibility of entering people's lives. It's important to acknowledge that. I don't appreciate if someone is just free riding and taking advantage of free places to crash.
