Hi,

my name is Mirko and travelling is my big passion. After working for about 15 years in the travel industry, i have decided to take a break and go to see the world on my own terms.
My next big challenge is to travel by bike from Bali to Japan and explore Asia as much as i can!
I have never done any travelling of this size and the prospect is exciting and scary at the same time!

Travelling for me means learning about the local culture, connecting with people, step out of your comfort zone and make new friends.
Couchsurfing seems the perfect platform to meet like minded people during my next trip across Asia.

Zainteresowania

Travelling is my biggest passion; i have visited 60 countries so far and i would like to take this number up to 70 by the end of next year.
Sport, sport...any sport really! At the moment i am really into running (run 2 marathons this year) and Sup (Stand Up Paddleboarding) but i like any sport in general
Food...this is an essential part of any travel experience! I like to try new food wherever i go as i believe this is an essential part of getting to know a country and a culture! No posh or Italian restaurant when i am abroad

Rock, grunge,fast and stuff full of energy (no pop please!)
I don't read as much as i would like but the best book i have read in the last year was "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho

Last year i run my first ultra marathon (100km), the longest distance i run before that was 32km!
