About Me

I'm a reckless soul who wants to discover the world and meet the new people. I am person who easily come together with everyone. Sometimes I can be a kind of a loudmouth, but at least there won't be awkward silence with me.

Serious beer enthusiast, but also history, old movies and music are close to my heart. So, if you are into any of these subjects, I am pretty sure we're going to have really good (or intense) conversations.

So if you propose to do something crazy with me, im in!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am always into something new and Couchsurfing sounded fun thing to try.

When I'm travelling I usually avoid the most crowded tourist traps, because I appreciate more local living and hidden gems of places I visit. I hope this is a good opportunity find those gems and also show them to another people.

Interests

At the moment, I am spending my days selling wine, because I'm working in the liquer store. Wines, beer and kind of alcohols are long time hobby for me.

I'm a hardass beer enthuasist and I've done little homebrewing too, but at this point I still need to buy most of my beers from the stores, haha.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's hard to name best bands or artists because there are too many and I'm not too picky with the genres and I am also interested to find new music all the time. Usually I like guitar driven music and bands like Pink Floyd and Arctic Monkeys. Those are the bands I can call some kind of favorite bands, but list goes on...

I love the movies and here's the same problem; hard to pick up the best one. Tarantino's movies like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs have been my favourites for years, but it's difficult to say are they really the best ones. I also like the trashy B-movies from 80's because those movies are best kind of entertainment enjoyed with friends and beer.

Usually I read the about history and other non-fictional books. There are many classics in my bookshell like Hemingway, Steinbeck, Huxley and Vonnegut that are waiting for the right time, so at least I have even little appreciation for the classics! It's also easier to name the favorite book than band or movie, so I would say the George Orwell's 1984.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to the Madagascar and lived there four months with pretty short notice. That was my first time when I lived in abroad, so the Madagascar was kind of interesting choice.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's kind of a cliche but I love to cook with other people, and I am pretty sure theres plenty of foods we can share together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am all-round cook, so I can prepare some finnish food if it's possible but I am also interested to try something new, if my host/guest have something in their minds.

And I love to cook things together, so you need to help me too!
