Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Miroslava, but my friends call me Miros. I’m a Mexican artist and art director, working across digital media, live shows, and TV. I’m also an entrepreneur, and together with my partner I founded a company focused on immersive experiences and art installations.
I moved to Barcelona 4 months ago after living in Denmark, the Netherlands, and France. Whenever life gives me the chance, I follow my other big passion: discovering new places around the world and making meaningful connections. I love Couchsurfing because it lets me experience places from the inside, through locals, stories, and real human connection.
I’m a calm person, I don’t smoke, don’t use drugs, and I don’t drink much. I’m friendly, respectful, and always curious to discover new ways of seeing life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I discovered Couchsurfing, the way I travel, and even the way I see people, changed completely. Couchsurfing teaches you that most people are kind, that many have a big heart, and that trusting others can open the door to really meaningful experiences. It gave me the chance to be more open, and to let other people enter my life in a very natural way. Some of my best friends today came from my Couchsurfing experiences around the world.
It also changes the way you see each country, because you get to experience places from a local perspective, learning the real culture, trying real food, and going far beyond the typical tourist version of a place, especially when you travel alone. It simply takes the whole experience to another level. After trying it, it’s honestly very hard for me to think about hotels again… too boring for me 🤷🏻♀️😊
Interests
I’m very interested in art, creativity, culture, nature, meaningful conversations, and discovering the soul of each place through the people who live there. I love muralism, immersive experiences, design, photography, food, and traveling in a more human way. I also enjoy calm plans, walking around new cities, learning from different ways of life, and sharing stories, ideas, and good energy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Moving to another continent with my life in one suitcase, without a real plan and without speaking the language, and discovering that this opened more doors, adventures, and lessons than I could have imagined.
- Also, building my life and career through art across different countries has been one of the most meaningful things I’ve done. It has allowed me to create projects that mix creativity, technology, and human emotion.
- Another big one was moving to Argentina on my own when I was 19 to live, work, and study there. That decision changed my life and the way I see the world.
- And well… I’ve also collected some random beautiful memories along the way, like living in Chamonix for a while, skiing in the French mountains, working in restaurants in France, working in the shows industry in the Netherlands, create our own company and make big shows and art around the worlds, painting murals hanging in buildings, and ending up in places and situations I never imagined.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach art, painting, sculpture, video, photography . I can teach you some Spanish or to cook Mexican food. And sharing everything about my culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m an honest person, always trying to be cooperative, open-minded, and respectful of the home and the people in it. I’m happy to help in any way I can, and I really enjoy sharing good conversation, positive energy, and stories from my travels and experiences around the world. I’d also be very happy to share some Spanish, a bit of Mexican culture, and of course cook some Mexican or international food. I can also share my creative side through painting, drawing, or helping bring ideas to a space. Or simply enjoy a nice time together :)
