About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Quest of knowlegde

ABOUT ME

I am an English Teacher and a PhD in English literature. I like hosting people, although I don't always have time to be a tour guide. I like philosophy, literature, underground culture in its various forms: graffiti, comic books, punk music, alternative lifestyles, eastern mysticism, art, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

I like reading Osho, Lao Tzu, Nietzsche, the Bible, Ramana Maharshi, Maharishi, Žižek, Derrida, Foucault, Morton, Harman, and the writers like McCarthy, Atwood, Borges, etc.

"By space the universe comprehends and swallows me up like an atom; by thought I comprehend the world."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have a lot of experiences concerning this website, since I have spend a lot of time out of home, studying and working, while living in places where I didn't have much opportunity to surf. However, I have accommodated numerous alternative music bands whose concerts I organized in the past decades. I am used to accommodating people from all over the world so feel free to ask for accommodation. Right now, though, I have little space, and I'll probably decline.

Interests

I sometimes organize and attend alternative music concerts. I am into literature, world cinema, art, underground music and comic books, religions, mysticism, anthropology, culture theory, etc.
